"Simon and his crew did an outstanding job! He is a perfectionist and has a wide range of knowledge and skills. When he found damage underneath rotten trim boards, he fixed it thoroughly. While I was initially dubious about hiring a handyman to stain the cedar siding, he did a much better job sanding, prepping and finishing the job than any previous "painter" had done, and in fact, he had to correct the errors of the last painter I hired. He transformed a sagging 70 yr old detached garage into an upright, reinforced solid structure that looked like new! He and his crew, were unfailingly polite and easy to work with. I would definitely hire them again!"

"Simon and his team did a great job repairing exterior wood rot, seamlessly matching the original trim. They noticed an additional area of wood rot and repaired that as well. Simon also hung a chandelier, fixed a door bell, and installed a wall rack without issue.

"I had asked multiple contractors quotes on the various plans I had for the room remodeling. Almost everyone seemed to be eager to take the project but was unwilling to give an itemized split so that I could stay in the budget I had in mind or were just unprofessional in calling at last minute and cancelling appointments just to drop by. Simon and his team were excellent and thoroughly professional....they came when they said they would come, explained exactly what they were doing and gave me clear timelines and worked with me on scheduling. The best part was that Simon had a ton of ideas, at the same time was willing to work in tandem with me to meet the budget while also planning what is best overall...They also stayed later on one of the days so as to complete the project in time they told me they would finish. If you don't mind paying a tad bit more for good workmanship and value professionalism and quality of service and timelines and all....I will recommend them to you....will rehire...in fact have already been talking to him for another modeling in 2018 :-)"

"Simon and his team are fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about the work they do. Not only do they do beautiful work, but they are timely, efficient, and their pricing seems reasonable. In addition, Simon usually finds additional things that should be fixed and takes care of them (for an additional charge) right away. For example, when painting the trim of my house, he noted that the shutters on one end needed repainting and took care of that. He also found rotted wood and replaced it, including adding a new sill to one of my doors. After I had water damage from ice dams, Simon's team replaced portions of ceiling and fixed many cracks. He also fixed some long standing separations in my crown moulding. His work is gorgeous. I couldn't be happier. For those niggling things that you know need to be fixed, to big things like repair and reconstruction, just make a list and have Simon come take care of them. You will be so pleased you did!"

"We were actually having Mr. FixIt do some decorative wood work in our dining room when I asked him to check a damp spot on our basement carpet. That led to the discovery of a crack in the foundation and some mold under the carpet. I needed my dining room and the basement completed by Easter which was about a week away. Mr. Fix It worked fast and somehow got both projects done in time for my family's visit. Mr. Fix It and his crew are very easy to work with and are pleasant to have around. He is very accessible and responsive and patiently listens to and addresses all my concerns. He basically has the answer to anything having to do with a house. We are extremely happy with all the work he has done and plan to have him do more projects in the future.   "
